1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SimpleStat ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SimpleStat provides website uptime monitoring and public status page generation services. We monitor URLs you specify and notify you when your sites go down or recover.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Free Trial and Paid Subscriptions

SimpleStat offers a 7-day free trial. After the trial period, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis and are non-refundable except as required by law.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to monitor URLs you do not own or have permission to monitor
• Attempt to overwhelm or abuse target servers through excessive monitoring
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent

6. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions, false positives, missed alerts, or data loss.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SimpleStatand are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SimpleStat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
